Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript already written and submitted to Jurnal Integritas covers the analysis and recent research results, conceptual analysis and other related research within the scope of Theological Study, Religious Education, and Christian Leadership. The manuscript for submission have to follow the guidelines that includes already typed in Microsoft Word, using font Times New Roman, font size 12 pts, printed on A4 paper with page margin of: top 2,5 cm, left 2 cm, right 2 cm, and bottom 2,5 cm. The manuscript must be typed with 1,25 space and consist of words ranging between 4.000 to 7.000 words on A4 paper. The author of the script can download the template found in this web page.
  2. Any manuscript must be submitted in the form of soft-copy- and should be uploaded via the link http://journal.sttjaffrayjakarta.ac.id/index.php/JI/about/submissions (Important to remember is non registered users shoud first register before being able to log in).
  3. Manuscripts can be written in either Indonesian language or  English. The order of the script consist of title; author’s name (without mentioning academic degree), abstract that consist of key words (both in English and or Indonesian language); foreword, the method of research, results and discussion, conclusion, and lastly consist of list of references.
  4. A title written in Indonesian language must not consist of more than 12 words and a title written in English cannot consist of more than 10 words. The title must be typed with capital in the middle area, using font size 14 points.
  5. The author must not have his or her academic degree inserted in the manuscript, but he or she must the institution he or she is affiliated with including the mailing address of that instituition, and all these information have to be placed right underneath the article’s title. In the case where the manuscript is written by a team, the editor is only allowed to contact the main author or the author whose name is mentioned first. The main author must include the address for correspondence or simply mention an e-mail address.
  6. Abstract and key words must be written in two languages (these includes Indonesian and English). The length of each abstract has the maximum of 150 words, while the amount of key words should consist of three to five words or combination of words. The abstract part have to at least contain the title of article, the purpose of research, the method or research and the result of research.
  7. The foreword section have to include background for doing the research, the scope of research, the results of literature review, and the purpose of conducting research. The entire foreword section have to be presented in an integrated manner in the form of paragraphs, consisting of 15 to 20% of the total length of article.
  8. The method section must consist of a description in the form of paragraphs about the research design, data source, data collection technique, teknik pengumpulan data, the and the data analysis that was actually performed by the researcher where the total length of this section is 10 to 15% of the entire article.
  9. The research results section have to describe what the result of the analysis results are where it shows a correlation with the research question. Every research result must be thoroughly discussed. The research result discussion have to interpret the results and comparing them with theories and or similar research results. The length of research result’s discussion should be 40 to 60% of the total length of article.
  10. The conclusion section have to provide the findings derived from the research which is given in the form of answers for the research questions or it can also be in the form of a summary of the discussion result. Conclusions must be presented in the form of paragraphs.
  11. The list of references contains only the sources that are cited and every source that have been cited must be mentioned in the list of reference. The source of citation must be at least 70% mentioned in the form of books published within the last 10 years. The citation being used are primary sources in the form of research articles found in journals or research reports (including thesis, thesis, dissertation). Articles that have been published in Jurnal Integritas are recommended to be used as references.
  12. Reference and citation using the Turabian footnote technique.
  13. The procedure for presenting quotations, references, tables and pictures follows a direct example of the procedures used in the articles that have been published. Articles in Indonesian use the General Guidelines for Enhanced Indonesian Spelling and terms that are standardized by the Language Center.
  14. All manuscripts were reviewed anonymously by partner bebestari (reviewers) appointed by the editor according to their area of ​​expertise. The author of the article is given the opportunity to make improvements (revisions) to the manuscript on the basis of recommendations / suggestions from partners or editors. The certainty of loading or rejecting the manuscript will be notified online.
  15. Everything related to licensing for citation or the use of computer software for manuscripts or other matters related to IPR carried out by the article author, as well as any legal consequences that may arise because of it, is the full responsibility of the article author.
  16. The editorial board has the right to edit articles; the content is entirely the responsibility of the author himself.
  17. Assurance of being published or not, will be notified to the author. If published, the author will be asked to pay a publication fee of Rp. 350,000. 
  18. The Reference List is organized in a manner like the example from Turabian and is ordered alphabetically and chronologically.
