ABSTRACT:

The church has the responsibility to carry out teaching for congregation members including elderly congregations. The elderly congregation has a spiritual need, namely faith growth based on the teachings of the Bible, the Word of God. Understanding the Bible is one form of spiritual formation that can be carried out by the church. The problem is that there is no Bible study material available to them. Therefore this study aims to explain how to design materials for understanding the Bible as a Form of Guiding the Elderly Congregation. This research method uses qualitative research methods. The result of this research is a way of designing Bible understanding material, namely by inductive exegesis of the Bible through the steps of observation, interpretation and application. One of the design materials for understanding the Bible that has been made is taken from the Gospel of Luke 2: 21-40. The conclusion of this study is that the way to design material for understanding the Bible as a Form of Guiding the Elderly Congregation is by exegesis of the Bible using the inductive method.

This article examines the event of Christ's second coming into the world. At His coming every soul will appear before Him to receive justice for the life lived in this world. Every human being will be held accountable for their lives. This article uses the literature research method based on the book "Metropolitan Orthodox Christianity Volume II: Doctrine and Teaching of the Orthodox Church" by Hilarion Alfeyev and supported by several journals and books related to this research as well as texts in the Holy Koran. Hilarion emphasizes that Christ will return to the world after His first coming, where He will be the King of kings, the just judge of all mankind and the giver of eternal life to each of His people. Every believer who has a disciplined, obedient and God-fearing spirituality will achieve his or her goal of living in divine light or theosis. This is the desire of every believer, to be united with Christ at His second coming.

The life of the world today is faced with cases of ecological damage. For this reason, efforts are needed to prevent it which initially begins with changing the paradigm or perspective so that it leads to how our attitude approaches nature. Are we going to stick to anthropocentrism or do we choose to be ecocentrism and theocentrism but in circumstances that pretend to be concerned about nature when in fact we ourselves are undermining the order of God's creation? Or do we see creation as our brothers that God created to praise His glory? For this reason, this paper will examine the concept of Ecomarturia which is expected to complement and even update the concept of an approach to nature. Researchers use qualitative study methods with the proximity of literature reviews. The results show that nature is our brother as a whole creation that is also created to testify and tell the deeds of God's hand. The approach is called Ecomarturia using a theory based on the Encyclical Laudato Si', Calvin's understanding, and Perikhoresis's theory.

This theological-ethical study aims to explore the biblical advice that serves as norms for a church leader, with a focus on Titus 1:5-9. The research method employed in this study is descriptive analysis technique. This approach focuses on interpreting the meanings given by individuals or groups to specific experiences or situations. In qualitative research, researchers are more interested in understanding the social, cultural, and psychological contexts of the phenomena under investigation. The findings of the study indicate that these norms provide clear guidelines for the character, qualifications, and responsibilities of a church leader. The advice includes criteria necessary for a leader, such as moral integrity, family commitment, and personal piety. Furthermore, these norms emphasize the importance of leadership that is strong, wise, and based on biblical teachings. This study also highlights the flexibility in applying these norms according to the context and needs of specific churches.

The research begins with the issue of gender marginalization that is still happening to this day. therefore, the author intends to elaborate on the integration of holistic equality in the feminist movement through the existence of women. As women’s struggle to achieve equal rights, opportunities, and the same position is now significant. Therefore, to achieve holistic equality, the essence of women must not disappear but exist in taking over what has been voiced. This research is reviewed based on the case of Widows in the Bethel Polongaan Congregation, Widows who show the existence of women, are able to become heads of families, housewives, educate children and meet living needs by farming. In the results and discussion, the author begins by discussing the basic concept of feminism as an opener in straightening out the wrong paradigm understood in the feminist movement, continued by discussing the existence of women, the existence of Widows of the Bethel Polongaan Congregation and ended with a discussion of holistic equality. This research is described based on a qualitative method with a case study approach, the results of the research are developed through a literature review to answer the problem formulation. This research aims to educate that the feminist movement must be followed by existence as an entity that has a unique role and influence in stimulating social change. This research shows that the existence of women is a real manifestation of the feminist movement for comprehensive transformation in society towards deeper and sustainable gender equality

The church exists in the world and participates in the development of the world. The rapid development of the world is also a challenge in itself for the development of the Church's mission to proclaim the gospel. One form of evangelism is implemented in five church tasks, one of which is the task of Kerygma or the dimension of preaching. This paper discusses the strategy of evangelism according to the times to young people. The rapidly changing times due to technology have had many impacts, both positive and negative impacts. The development of this era also has a very strong impact because it can affect everything in life, including religious matters. To carry out its mission for salvation, especially for all young people, the Church needs a purposeful approach and the mission of proclamation can be carried out well. To find this approach, the focus of research in this paper is more directed at young people from generation Z by using quantitative research methods in the form of collecting questionnaire data which is processed to show creative ideas put forward by young people to help the Church in the future so that they can use the media of communication as a means of proclaiming the gospel and can ultimately be accepted not only by young people but also by the general public

The crisis in the context of Christian leadership today involves issues such as emphasis on authoritarian leadership, maintenance of the status quo, lack of leadership capacity, and ambition for domination. Therefore, the focus of this research is to propose a new paradigm related to the development of leadership principles based on sharing power within the church environment. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The research findings indicate that Christian leadership based on the principle of shared power reflects the love of Christ who serves with humility, prioritizes the interests of others over personal interests, and is willing to share power with the congregation. By applying these principles, a strong relationship is formed between leaders and the congregation, thereby strengthening spiritual growth and unity within the church community.
